Zamar Ministries serves 887 children in five schools across Haiti. For many of their families, tuition, a uniform and books are more than they can pay in one year. A sponsor carries part of that load, so a child can keep learning, eat a hot meal at school and grow up with people who care.

Questions About Sponsorship
What does $45 a month cover?
Your sponsorship gives your child a hot meal every school day, a uniform, books and notebooks, a school bag and supplies, and it lowers the tuition the family has to pay. Many of these families could not keep their children in school without this help.
Can I share a sponsorship?
Yes. Each child has three shares of $15 a month. You can take one share and invite two friends, your small group or your church to take the others. The gauge under each child shows how many shares are already taken. When all three are taken, the child is fully sponsored and a new child joins the page.
How do letters work?
Your child's letters are scanned by our team in Haiti and emailed to you. When you write back, we print your letter and hand it to your child. To keep every child safe, our team reads all letters before passing them on, in both directions. Please do not include your home address, phone number or social media, and do not send money or gifts directly to the child or the family. If you would like to give something extra, contact us and we will make sure it reaches your child.
Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
Zamar Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 90-1028508). Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law, and you receive an email receipt after each payment.
Can I change or stop my sponsorship?
Yes, at any time. Just write to us at info@zamarministries.org and we will take care of it. We only ask that you let us know, so we can find a new sponsor for your child.
